JOHN J. SAMS (Mar. 20, 1895 - Oct. 16, 1966) John Joseph Sams was born March 20, 1895 in Rice County, Kansas and died at his home in Minneapolis, Sunday, October 16, 1966. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Rexroat of Palo Verdes Estates, California and Mrs. Donna Comfort of St. Louis, Missouri; also a brother, W. R. Sams of Sun City, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Lora Brown of Salina and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, October 19 at the First Presbyterian church at two o'clock. Rev. Earl H. Estill officiating. Burial was in the Highland cemetery, Haley Funeral Home in charge. |
